This is one of several fractals I have made recently with one of Cornelia Yoder's first UF formulas. It is called CY Generalized Durbi Julia. The coloring algorithm is Trapestry. Thank you Cornelia for this wonderful formula. I have to say that I have been fascinated by it ever since you uploaded it to the data base. :)

Just lovely, Mary! The colors are softly metallic-looking, there's a sense of decomposition because of the lines, the light is gently glowing...all in all, this is like the spreading apart of a delicate metal structure due to heat or time. Very nice work!

Oh Mary, this is most beautiful. Perfect light, ultra-lovely coloring, and the texture is wonderful (one of my favorite colorings). Sweet detail.. Outstanding!
